Description
SimplHub is part of the SimplModules family of products and is used as the Single point of connection to the Internet using WiFi connectivity.
For example, if a system has multiple SimplMeters and SimplSwitches, as the system is integrated, all modules connect with each other, form a mesh and then the collection of these modules is connected to the Internet using SimplHub through a WiFi access point that is connected to the customer’s Internet service.
In cases where the customer Internet service is not available or the customer network security requirements are such that Internet connectivity is not feasible, Simpl4G provides the same function but instead of connecting to the Internet using the customer’s Internet service, it connects to the Internet using the 4G cellular network.
For situations where WiFi Internet connectivity is available but it is not reliable or is not consistent, Simpl4G uses the WiFi connectivity when available and automatically switches to 4G when needed.
